Interim Pastor
Pastoral and emergency care: Pastor Alan Dailey 585-330-8744

We are pleased to announce Pastor Alan Dailey has been selected by session as our new Interim Pastor.

Alan is a second career pastor. He returned to school at the age of 58 and attended Colgate Rochester Crozer Seminary following a 35 year career in marketing and sales. Alan says there are people who have told him that marketing and sales is what he is still doing.

He was ordained by the United Church of Christ and is currently serving churches in transition as an Intentional Interim Pastor throughout the New York. He sits on the Executive Committee of the Genesee Valley Association of the NY Conference of the UCC as their Ecumenical and Interfaith Coordinator. In addition, he is also serving as President of the Greater Rochester Community of Churches and the UCC Representative to the NYS Council of Churches.

Alan and his wife Sue have five children and nine grandchildren and live in his childhood home in Brighton.

Mission Statement
We are a congregation that loves God, cares for our neighbors and each other, and is open to all. Our church is a community that nurtures a Christian way of life. God leads us to worship through Word and Sacrament, Prayer, and Music. God calls us to be seekers, stewards, students, and servants.

Visitors:
We welcome all visitors and newcomers and invite you to join us in the Assembly Room for coffee and fellowship immediately following the service. We encourage all visitors to sign one of the guest books located on the podiums at the rear of the church each time you visit. If this is your first visit with us, please take a small bag as a gift from the congregation. You may also fill in the welcome cards in the pews and place them in the collection plate if you would like more information about First Presbyterian Church.

Prayer Postcards:
We have Prayer Postcards that can be sent to anyone who is in need of prayers. All you have to do is sign the list on the table in the Narthax. Let us know the name and address of the person you're thinking of and the Deacons will notify Pastor Aaron (and the congregation if you wish) . Then we'll send a postcard to the person letting them know that friends at First Presbyterian Church praying for them. It's a nice concept that could bring comfort to those who are in need. The Deacons will check the list every week and will make sure that cards and prayers are being sent. We hope you'll feel free to utilize this means of showing care and concern for others.

Brockport Community Garden
First Presbyterian Church invites you to become a part of a garden project on the front lawn of the church at 35 State Street, in the Village of Brockport. We envision this as a Community Garden with which we will seek the abundant life Jesus wished for us, a life of wholeness; nourished and healthy from wholesome food and community relationships!
